No coach is that dumb and that stubborn. Besides, the social media is flooding with "free Sengun" sentiment. I really doubt that Silas has not heard any of that feel at least some pressure to play Sengun more.

I agree that there must be some kind of non-basketball rationale behind the scene. This thought is both comforting and disturbing. Disturbing because I think it is quite stupid to prioritize asset development and tanking over player development especially when you see a special talent on your hand. It's comforting because there's a silver lining beyond the trade deadline.

The most compelling thing is that in the post game interview Silas said everything some of that have been labeled Sengun disciples have said about Sengun's game.

 

when did i crap on Matthews? he's a nice player but still an asset like most everyone else is and nothing more than a salary filler in a trade.
