Goldblum in his interviews and other things, gives me creep vibes, someone I wouldn't leave my female relatives alone with. I go with Walken for eccentric. Another name who comes to mind is Gary Oldman. He plays lot of eccentric (over the top) villains.
Christopher Walken hosted Saturday Night Live in 2000. My favorite SNL. He was the Continental, then him and Tim Meadows did a sketch about the census that is classic
I once heard an interview where Christopher Walken doesn’t like to use periods. It makes his unique delivery make so much more sense after hearing that.
Walken is definitely the most eccentric. Goldblum is good, but he seems to play the same character in all his movies. Keaton....man, such an underrated actor. His body of work - there's nothing he can't do well. P.S. Spoiler SOUTH TO DROP OFF, MORON!!
It's a 3-way tie for first in my book. If Keaton didn't have his role in "My Life" starring Michael Keaton, then I would have placed him last. They all get gold! You get a gold! He get a gold! Everyone get a gold!
I enjoy Goldblum in anything he does, and he leads an eclectic life, but Walken exudes eccentricity. Keaton is a terrific actor, no question, with an amazing range, but Walken seems to be able to go beyond himself, if that makes any sense. Watch him in a great film, The Deer Hunter. You can't stop watching him, no mean feat considering the other actors involved.
