It's been pretty crazy watching CFers brains turn to mush over the decades.

So... you're saying that Baldwin was handed a gun without a live round and in front of a whole lot of people unloaded the gun and put in a bullet he was carrying Barney Fife style in his pocket to kill a woman?

We've always had bad faith actors and completely braindead partisan hacks, but sometime around the Obama years what was left of the conservative contingent started shrinking and those who remained had Alex Jones kinda brainworms. Then with the rise of Trump it basically pushed all the logical ones out entirely and now we're left with the F tier.

What is 'it' in your sentence? That Alec Baldwin purposely pulled the trigger? That I don't dispute. I don't think anyone disputes that.

Or is 'it' the idea that Baldwin purposely shot the woman to kill her?

Just to be clear you are saying the possibility exists that Baldwin was handed a gun without a live round and in front of a whole lot of people unloaded the gun and put in a bullet he was carrying Barney Fife style in his pocket to kill a woman?

Definitely possible bc he can count on it being so bold no one would believe it.

Also many other things are possible.

Alec Baldwin isn’t an actor I care for at all. I couldn’t even name my favorite movie of his.

He’s no DiCaprio. I would defend Leo until the end.

    So dreamy.

That the details we have are inaccurate and other things happened. Countless possibilities remain since we have very scant info. What we know is that there was no movie related reason for Baldwin to take aim at someone and pull the trigger.

I'm starting to believe a large chunk of humans are barely conscious beings. They have self awareness, but don't clear any bar above that.

Blame it on the rules. All the incentives for media are to make us pissed off and all the incentives for government are to cater to the extremes.

Change the rules. Change the game.

Alec Baldwin has acted in some fine films, giving excellent performances for terrific directors, a literal "who's who" of outstanding directors, in fact. A pity that you must have missed them. Here's a few -

Beetlejuice (1987) Directed by Tim Burton.
Working Girl (1988) Directed by Mike Nichols.
Married to the Mob (1988) Directed by Jonathan Demme.
Talk Radio (1988) Directed by Oliver Stone.
The Hunt for Red October (1990) Directed by John McTiernan.
Miami Blues (1990) Directed by George Armitage.
Glengarry Glen Ross (1992) Directed by James Foley.
The Getaway (1994) Directed by Roger Donaldson.
The Edge (1997) Directed by Lee Tamahori.

Most of these were commercially successful, but not all. That's Hollywood for you.
