Another thing to consider is whether to draft your future qb if this current coaching staff will not be here in 2 years.

No sense in drafting a guy and having him learn 1 system only to have to learn another in 2023 or 2024. A young qb needs continuity and stability.

Nakobe. He can play sideline to sideline actually diagnose a screen pass and knows what depth he needs to be in zone coverage. Can't say the same about Cunningham. He is going to be a holy phenom to quote Wade.

I like Lloyd too but he will fall late 2nd. Take him too. Take everyone.

Unless one of these guys really knocks our socks off, I'd prefer we build the talent around a young QB first.

Unless there's a stud QB in this draft (which seemingly won't be the case), I think the right call would be to build up as much of the roster as you can. And then once you get a decent roster, and have a stud QB to grab, you start over with the new coaching staff and let them build their offense with their guy at QB.

I mean because we ALL know that Culley isn't the savior, he's 100% the fall guy who gets to ride off into the sunset with a high paycheck. I'd much rather reach on the "can't miss prospects" over reaching for a QB we all think is meh...

Hutchinson already with 2 sacks and is out there causing all kinds of trouble for OSU.

Tell me more about the Michigan OL

Some of those guys would be an improvement over what's currently residing on Kirby.

Just watching the game live, I felt like Hutchinson was playing himself into potentially the #1 pick. Dude was in the backfield (in the biggest game of the season, against the biggest opponent) all game long. He would look great in a Texans uniform....

I can hear the JJ Watt comparisons now....;)

John Harris saying Thibodeaux and Hutchinson not the same type of athlete (twitchiness, etc) as the Bosa Brothers, Garret, Young, etc. for whatever that's worth.

    Michigan off-season proday
    40 time- 4.64
    Vertical - 36”
    3 cone - 6.54 (ridiculous)
    Shuttle - 4.07

Those are absolutely elite athletic numbers. If he comes close to those at combine he sneaks into number 1 talk with his on field production

He seemed to be cherry picking, but his rankings don't follow the mold. His lists aren't created by editing the ESPN draft rankings, and he hits on a lot of random guys. I think his opinion is more valuable than most of the pundits.

Yeah I typically appreciate his opinions. But those numbers are fact. Several scouts are going off of them.
I could understand where he thinks they’re more power guys in game play. Doesn’t mean they don’t have the speed and wiggle, they’re just that much better than their opposition.
