The analysts appear to be saying that no team has ever won the 3 middle games consecutively. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/playoffs2004/news/story?id=1818417 I can understand maybe the home team has never won all 3 games, but Tom "the tool" Tolbert says it's never been done either way. Didn't Lakers do it against their series against Philly?? http://www.nba.com/history/finals/20002001.html
did you see Tolbert's suit the other night? all i can say is....wow. looked more like drapes than a suit.
I think he meant the home team, or the team that didn't have the home court advantage starting out. I remember when Detroit beat Portland for the Championship, Detroit had the home court advantage and Portland won game two. After the game, a reporter was interviewing Clyde and Clyde said that the series wasn't coming back to Detroit. It would be over after the games in Portland. Well, unfortunately he was right.
Tom Trollbutt is less annoying than Marv, Doc, or the Czar. He is a jerk, but he's not as much of a mook as those other three.
