Don’t get the love affair with Brooks. House should be gone, but his minutes do not need to go to Brooks. Are JC and Garuba in RGV yet? Matthews and KJM should get more minutes and Sengun should be getting as many minutes as his body can handle.

 

If Sengun, KJM, and Matthews get consistent minutes the Rockets will start winning some games. That is unacceptable. I bet Silas plays Sengun 25 mins or so against the Celtics (a team we have very little chance of beating) and goes back to his 20 mins afterwards. We are tanking you know.

*Wasn't Brooks like the most made 3-pointers by a rookie this past season? Or best percentage?
That would be better than Klay Thompson, Steph, Booker, Beal.

Brooks was suppose to be the deadeye 3-point shooter to open up the offense
and create space. Now Garrison has taken over that role. It would be nice to get
both going.

I don't get the love affair with Tate? Tate brings the hustle just like House but makes
a few good things happen.....unlike House who makes nothing good happen.

Kenyon was a plus 10......good things happen when he plays. I would start him.
Not as good a defender as Tate but our offense opens up with Kenyon.

I don't like to criticize Silas, as coach is with these guys 24-7 and privileged to
see things I may not.....but House playing I'm sure is dictated by higher ups.

*Defense takes a back seat this season as we want to go ahead and tank now.
But we got to fine tune this offense much better. Thus the insertion of
Brooks and Matthews take precedent over defense. Offensive Spacing !!
Try to outscore everyone this year much like the Nets last season. Without
the stars and without the actual, "outscoring part." LoL

Also, I will say the Rockets looked competitive vs playoff contenders on the road
but have looked off or flat when House came back from Injury. Coincidentally.
And I don't believe in coincidence. Team looked better now that the House minutes
dropped to two.

 

I think Silas has given me my sound bite for the year when he said “that’s a pro” and left Sengun on the bench. Pretty much summed up the whole season and offered insight to the coaching in so few words and one action.

 

maybe Sengun just hasn't gotten his first paycheck yet

 

I have watched that movie over and over, I never get tired of it.
