Mobley would only get 5 minutes a game here. Silas would play Theiss and Wood.

Rockets would have kept Olynyk if Mobley was the pick.

Mobley for spot up 3's only. None of that dumb midrange or post-ups here per @HP3 and @jordnnnn

I'd let Sengun to post ups. Mobley.....lmao are you under the impression that he's some good post player at this point in his career or something.

Sengun and mobley would have had me soooo hyped (assuming both had shown similar flashes) .

but I would be worrying about mobley health.
To me his best chance is to stay light . I remember reading the draft analysis that he’s really a big wing .

    JC
    Tate
    Mobley
    Garuba
    Sengun

    Once everyone starts hitting 3’s .... :)
but hell , you could start Gordon and that team would compete for play-in for sure and we are thinking playoffs next year . Now granted , I’m crazy. But , that trio towers would be absurd . Garuba to me looks like he is an absolute stud if he can hit the 3 .

we would win games 70-60 . Throwback time.

Oh well , as is I’m pretty high on greens D . His effort is very good and ofc he gets lost and if he can get an NBA body he will he so much extra leeway.

Doubt Garuba drafted if both Mobley and Sengun taken with 1st 2 picks, but who knows what Stone was smoking that night.

But Bones Hyland instead of JC would have been amazing too.

If OP scenario plays out as he imagined (no Sengun - boo!) then:

    2nd: Evan Mobley
    16th: Jalen Johnson
    23rd: Bones Hyland
    24th: Usman Garuba

That would have been a helluva draft as well.

I really don't think Mobley would play that good here tbh especially with kpj as our point...

I wanted Mobley and Jalen Johnson.
Would have been happy to trade one of the late 1st picks with Wood for a nice return (add Gordon for salary match?).
Maybe going big with the other 20s pick OR a combo point type (Springer or Dosunmo or something).

    But it didn't happen soooo

Ummmm. Aren’t the Rockets missing half their 1st round picks in the next few years?

He's barely playing Sengun. You think he'd play Mobley over Wood and THeis? have you not been paying attention?? Also YOU NEED A COACH THAT WILL PLAY HIM AT SF. In order to get Cavs Mobley you need Cavs coach and point guards too.

    2022
    2023
    • Houston OR Brooklyn first-round pick, whichever is higher
    • Milwaukee first-round selection
    2024
    • Brooklyn first-round pick
    • Houston second-round selection
    • Golden State second-round pick, protected for selections 56-60 (anything higher and it conveys)
    2025
    • First-round pick from Houston, Oklahoma City, OR Brooklyn (Oklahoma City can swap its 2025 1st for Houston’s first-round pick, top-10 protected; after that is decided, Houston can swap whatever pick it has for Brooklyn’s selection, if desired)
    • Houston second-round selection

Monbly looks like the real deal and a true franchise player.

even if green becomes an allstar player I think Mobley will always be the better pick.

I picked Mobley just because I think he will eventually be the best big man in the entire nba.

I'll take Green, Sengun, and Chet Holmgren.

If we draft Mobley, do we potentially draft Holmgren or Banchero if they're available with our pick this year?
