I think everyone needs to get on the same page with management here. Tilman even said he wants to have no more than a 2 year rebuild. Rockets know they don't have the fire power they need on the roster yet to do a legit rebuild. They need one more young top pick that will pan out before putting a competitive squad out there. They WANT that #1 pick guys. Period! Y'all should be cheering everytime they lose because after the draft next year it will be Green and Sengun along with some young big like Banchero as the next Big 3. Think OKC with Durant / Westbrook / Harden back to back to back in the drafts. That's the vision right now.

this is why some of us have been screaming for SIlas to be fired.

Most of us do not expect wins, but if we aren't going to win we better ****ing develop the younger players... which hardly can even see the floor. It's pretty mind boggling and infuriating.

you know even if we have the worst record it’s only a 14 % shot at #1 .... barely over 50 for a top 4 pick ....

I mean bro . We do not have to be this bad . If it was a choice it was a dumb choice .

vs if we are #2 we are guaranteed top 6 with virtually the same odds at top 4

I’m sure stone has already done scouting and knows for a fact that the draft is 5 deep and being 6 will get us a sucka

    jk

but in all honesty the better green looks the more excited I will be to get another top pick. Hard to get jazzed up to suck if it looks like other GM’s got better players at 3,4,5 etc

Well, to play as bad as they do it has to be intentional. There is no way they can get that close to a win and drop it everytime. Every loss counts this year. You get a few wins here and there and the other tanking teams are going to capitalize.

    waive him.

good to have some vets to teach the kids how to be pros. I think Augustine, gordon, Nwaba, and thies are great for this. mostly on the bench and in limited roles though. not as starters with major minutes. I'd love to see this lineup post all star:

    sengun (27) - thies (21)
    KJ (24) - garuba (12)
    gordon (30) - tate (30)
    green (30) - Matthews (12)
    scoot (30) - augustine (24)

move our best young players into starters with real minutes. more shooting around green. stagger scoot and green to add even more shooting and passing (augustine) with Jalen.

next year find a way to move on from gordon and thies. move garuba to full time backup C.

They're not trying to tank, they're just a really bad team

I would say the vast majority of tanking teams are already bad. That's why they are tanking.... To get good players in the draft. Though this team has had a historically bad stretch starting from last season.

For boneheaded leadership and someone who takes the fall.
