Didn't get to watch the game tonight. Looked at the boxscore and Sengun played only 5 minutes. Was he injured or what?
Nope, Silas thought it was smart to play Theis and House and a whole laundry list of players more than him
=( these threads were not meant to be serious and manifest themselves. Stone has to go in and do his thing.
Stephen Silas on Alperen Sengun playing just five minutes: "Theis was playing too good. He was really playing well. Especially on the defensive end, helping on drives. It's unfortunate I wasn't able to get Al-P back in the game." He found it hard to make substitutions to a lineup that couldn’t close the gap on the 2nd worst team in the league?
What is wrong with Silas, he started House and then limited Sengun's minutes!!!! This is what every Rocket's fan do every night while watching the Rockets:
He is using this as an excuse. He wasn't going to play Sengun a lot regardless. He already only had Sengun play 4 minutes in teh first half, that was before Theis played so 'amazingly'. We have no structure in our offense, so let's not play the 19 year old who is best at playing teamball and structure the offense.... The 18 minutes that Sengun played were the few brightspots in our chaotic offense. Seriously, if Silas is going to continue to play Sengun so little I am al in favor of firing him.
If he's going to be treated that way by some worthless loser, I hope he asks for a trade. An ugly shepherd has no right to steal his and Houston's future.
Well on the bright side Green did play a lot better. Could it be they are trying their hardest to get Green to break out of his shell to be a dominant force sooner rather than later. But Silas isn’t coaching for wins, if not Green would not be getting 30+ Minutes a game, at this stage in his career.
