    It’s a risk, but it’s a low risk since it’s only a year. No other pitcher has this kind of upside without a long/expensive contract.

    Have the details of the option been discussed?

    I havent seen anything on the option but my question is how MANY innings does he pitch next year coming off TJ? 150-175?

    Awesome news. JV, LMJ, Valdez, Garcia, Urquidy/Javier/Odorrizi sounds like a solid rotation if they can all stay healthy

    Seems that way. Surprised at two years 50M it took a player option. That makes it a little higher risk than I thought.

    I can't wait to see pitcher is more important than pitching coach. Like QB is more important than head coach.

    This man has made a lot of money in three years for having done little to nothing and still unproven to do anything again. Oh yeah.. theres also that kicker of making a lot more money in 4 years.
