This has drawn the ire of GOP operative Matt Schlapp, who tweeted this ignorant rant Schlapp has a history of making racially insensitive remarks, and when called out, he'd rationalize w this nonsense, "i can't be a racist cos i am married to a Cuban American". he has often made the baseless claim that minorities (Blacks, Latinos, Asians) in America are innately racists, w the innuendo that Anglos are not

I don’t know anything about that guy, but my immediate reaction to the new “Asian-American” muppet was to ask a similar question “Are Bert and Ernie supposed to be white?” I never thought of them as white, and they certainly don’t look white.
