Green needs to learn how to play basketball, his struggles have nothing at all to do with who is playing PG.

If they’re prioritizing KPJ, they need to start EG. play Green with Augustin.

    makes sense to me.

I wonder what we could get in a package of Wood and KPJ if we end up taking Chet in the draft?

I've been advocating this too. Both KPJ and Green need to play alongside veterans. Right now, it's pretty much the blind leads the blind.

    Sigh… I don’t think he’ll ever get it as a PG.

It is as if he is taking millions of dollars to play streetball, and be bad at it. He runs into 2-3 players and jacks up a shot. They should not even count as a missed shot just because they happen to hit the rim, they are turnovers. And then does not run back! Just get rid of him ASAP.

That's the part that bugs me the most. I've noticed on at least four occasions where he's pouting or barking at the refs while the other team is going for a layup. Not hustling back as inexcusable. Maybe this is the immaturity Cleveland recognized early on.

As for KPJ as a PG, I don't see it working out. The Rockets are averaging a league high 19 turnovers a game, most of which result from KPJ passes. So far they have 11 in the first half tonight. How many points are other teams getting off of these turnovers?

My opinion, but KPJ lacks the the court vision to be a PG. Way too many missed open looks for easy buckets when he decides to be a scorer instead of a PG. Q

Hell, why not try turning Jalen Green at point guard if it's so easy. The fact is, you don't just teach someone to be a point guard. They either have it or they don't

He lacks court vision because he is not interested in it, was never and will never be.

KPJ's gotta go. No court vision, no offensive skill. Just a horrible PG.

his body language is even worse than his shooting and playmaking, and that’s hard to do

hangs his head and jogs back after every missed layup or turnover…every single time

Cleveland knew what they were doing giving up on KPJ. Rockets trying to develop him is a waste that could have been devoted towards something else.

Wouldn't give up on him. but he is not a pg nor is he a corner stone for this franchise. we obviously needed any kind of W to bounce back from losing harden that we are willing to baptize any skilled lefty as his second coming. im guilty as well, but the eye test matches the stats - he is playing out of position. we acted prematurely in handing him the keys when we still have a john wall on our squad. john wall would for jalen green - this is 1000 times better situation than where we are right now.

i still think KPJ's ceiling would be a jordan clarkson of instant offense off the bench.

He had a rough game, but he did well on defense and cut down on the turnovers before he got hurt.

They aren't making him a point guard, they want him to be a combo-guard in the vein of Jam Murray, with an offense that can be initiated by all 5 players.

Problem is, Tate and Theis are essentially defensive specialists that allow the defense to have multiple defenders dropped for 48 minutes.

Start Sengun and a shooter with KPJ/JG and the Rockets will look infinitely better.

you cant use +/- as a good indicator on a single game basis ... especially if its a 30 point blowout.

KPJ might become a good player one day. We should not have thrown him and green to the wolves. Looks like the pressure is getting to KPJ . Move him to the bench and give him a different role.

I think he's a pretty emotional player who clearly wants the team to win. He can play hard but he has to be in the right headspace . Take some pressure off. Talent is there , but hes not ready.

Start : gordon , tate , house (since we love him) , wood, and theis. That team will play hard and if house is hot we can keep it close. Then off the bench play DJ , Green, Nwaba , KMJ , and Sengun . Allows green and sengun to get chemistry and a couple of vets to guide and help control the game . KMJ gets a shot , but Garuba and Christopher are in line . KPJ can come back when he gets his head right . Shieet , i could send him to G-league with garuba and JC. But nah , he just needs to calm down. I think he needs to watch. He's just looked a step slow. Cant finish worth a **** etc..

Needs to rest up and get laid to restore the force. Then , practice his shot.

Guy is full of doubt and out of control. Coaching staff should not have let it get to this point. Esp on a B2B when there are other guys who can get the opportunity to handle the ball. The ball was moving at times tonight . Sometimes it got sticky on the young guys , expected. KPJ needs to lose hesitation. Tate doesnt have near the ball control or off dribble shooting ability as KPJ , but i'd rather he have the ball because at least he will try to move it quickly or attack. Same with sengun . Both those guys seem to have more awareness of the guys around them than KPJ.

His range makes him potentially lethal .. potentially. At the very least sit him for a bit and then allow him to come off the bench. Cant just start him after this latest half-ass attempt . I feel sorry for him. Gotta give him tough love. Reduce his role and if he wants more he needs to earn it back over the next 15 game .

KPJ's problem is he makes bad decisions and then has a shitty attitude about the bad decisions he makes on the court and then he goes on full tilt. I don't see him making it as a NBA player if he can't dramatically change his attitude immediately.
