Meh, Harden never won us anything when it counted so the rebuild was necessary. The rebuild has been disgusting thus far outside of Sengun.

He didn’t have to say who might start… He could’ve went with “I’d like to see less turnovers… better free throw shooting… etc”

Just feel like his answer isn’t the best non-answer. Could’ve also gone with “we’re focusing on winning tonight and will reevaluate as we do after every game.” Coach speech is pretty meaningless but not difficult.

 

my viewpoint on this is if you ask a question that blatantly deserves coach speak like that ... I’m fine with a no answer

I agree and I’m also fine with a coach who doesn’t handle the media very competently if we are winning but he opened the door with telling reporters he was spending a lot of time mulling over rotation changes.

 

translation: "I have no f'ing clue how to fix this thing."
