Plus there were only like 70 people in attendance at a weekday game that I saw last week. Didn't catch the Suns game last night. Rebuilding hurts

    HOWEVER

we have only to look down the road at the Astros or the Texans for models of how to do it very right and very wrong.

I was at the game last Wednesday (thanks to @Xerobull) and there was a decent crowd. A huge problem was that so many people were at a concession line and they take so damn long. My daughter wanted popcorn but after waiting for 10 minutes and barely moving in the line, we bailed. The concessions were so badly overrun; I can't imagine it's like that at every other NBA arena.

Had no issues last time I went, but we got snacks during the first quarter.

Definite fail on Tilman's part if you're waiting in line too long. And although I didn't wait very long, the servers were apathetic, like it was the DMV.

$1 hotdogs and $5 beers. That’s why it was tougher to get stuff last night. I was there too. Wearing the retro rockets hoodie behind the suns bench

@Xerobull is the man for that. Were the seats good?

I went there for the 10th and it was OK for the experience. Going to a game is fun, but it pales in comparison to like MMP for the Astros. Astros seem more organized with food and lines.

Can confirm it's not. I live in Salt Lake City and occasionally attend Jazz games with a friend who has first 10 row season tickets. Though they may be a festering pit of evil, they run their concessions through an app on your phone. You simply go pick it up when you get buzzed that it's ready. This is true for the 3rd party vendors (Chick Fil A, etc). All through an arena app.

I feel bad that EG is still on the team. I mean at least Wall isn’t forced to play. EG is the only veteran that gets minutes on this terrible ball club. He looks like he’s being held against his will.

please trade this man and get him to a team that has a chance to compete.

So what you're saying is we need to go all in and promote Sengun to player coach? I like it

I was talking to other fans sitting next to me last night and we all agreed that Sengun is the best player on the roster right now. A 19 year old rookie Euro is our best player. No disrespect to Al P but that's pathetic roster building by Stone.

The seats were great! I'll say this: we were close enough to sustain the attention of a 5 year old who had never seen a basketball game before.

The Texans are just starting their rebuild. Kinda sucks that both the Rockets, Texans rebuilds are starting at the same time.

Sort of; they're starting it at a major disadvantage because BoB alienated or traded key pieces for trash instead of picks and future-looking moves. Case study in why you should not let a coach also function as GM (especially a moron). The Texans as a team are primarily aging veterans.

BoB traded a 2nd round pick for Cooks, a broken down RB and a 2nd for a franchise WR, only got a 3rd round pick for Clowney, gave up a 3rd rounder for Carlos Hyde, and gave up 2 first round picks and a 2nd round pick for an O-lineman (Tunsil) after everything else had fallen apart instead of using free agency or the draft.

It's amazing this man wasn't forcefully removed from Houston by fans.

The Astros focused heavily on their farm system and on acquiring analytically-proven undervalued players.

The Texans vet laden team will be changing over the next couple of yrs. I look for 8-10 FA draft picks, UDFA's to make the team next year.

The Stros were built correctly for long term success. Click just has to be competent at replacing/signing guys.

Thanks Jeff Luhnow for setting the team/fans up to compete for titles for a decade long span. Very impressive
