Yeah he's still turning ball over trying to dribble and drive to the basket but yeah if we can ditch him.

no coach can adjust to how many players Silas has had out since he started the job. We had a 1,000 different starting line ups last season

Some say Silas needs time to be truly effective. If the whole program is going in the wrong direction with out any structure to build from and players are regressing from last year when they found success from other teams that carried over to us. Leadership appears to have no control over team. All the veteran players moved on or STAY on injured reserve for months on end.
Stone NEEDS to intervene so we don’t waste or regress the development year.

    Silas we see you.

On the plus side, Green had a good game until the 4th when he was just forcing heaves to beat the clock.

This team just is a bunch of guys trying to "get theirs" with no identify or cohesion on offense. Just a total free for all out there lol and when the game gets close, people get selfish. Can't imagine a team could be any worse!

Until we move off of the KPJ "PG experiment", the offense will look out of sync and disjointed. I like the kid's potential as a 6th man scorer type, but he is not the PG we need moving forward. Green is a young SG trying to be somebody in the league. It will take some time for him to grow up and develop. With a backcourt like that you should not expect much offensive continuity or consistency, regardless of who the coach is or what the system is. Those two are just too young and inexperienced to make things work right now. Expect growing pains like this.

    We have players who,
    • frequently make dumb plays
    • frequently make selfish plays
    • are not good enough to offset their own mistakes.

A team might win games with a player who check one of these boxes. We have multiple players who check all these boxes. Worst in the NBA. Get these guys off the team; they don't deserve to be in Rockets uniforms.

It's very hard to un-coach selfishness. Instead of Lucas keep investing valuable time and resources into players, swap out the dead weights.

    Get it done, Sir Stone.

if only we had a GM that considers a shooting coach more valuable than a top 4 pick

Hopefully people who thought we’d be amazing can now see we’re not going to be close to the playoffs for at least another season after this. I am worried about Green playing the team game if we keep this McHale offense up.

actually i like this team and hows everything unveiling... its a lot of talent and just need more repetitions, practice and chemistry and continuity and perhaps a new coach and silas to be demoted or something...

if only they worked on their FT shooting we would have been sitting on a winning record now
more work and discipline is needed

18-65, holy @#$@#. He may never achieve above .500 as Rockets coach.
