They certainly improved a ton, fast - I love their coach....however, I think the Big 12 sucks....this year, no one is any good. DD
As a Baylor graduate I definitely enjoyed the win yesterday. But Baylor fans should not have stormed the field. It was different when the program was down and coming up but now they should act like they've been there before. The #13 team beating the #8 team does not justify storming the field to me...or maybe I'm just an old get off my lawn guy.
It was a bad look. Not nearly as bad as TCU fans storming the field when they beat Baylor last week though.
At the end of the day, those who stormed the field were 18-21 year olds. Big win. Lots of fun. Let’s don’t Aggy the grass.
The tone was set when Mack Rhoades said that “he would be on the field with them.” He could have shot that down and the students would have listened
Don’t get me wrong the 19 year old version of me would have been on the field with every one else…I just think the program has come far enough where fans don’t need to storm the field after beating a team that was only a 4 pt favorite. But who knows maybe that vibe and atmosphere will help with recruiting. I am more concerned about Aranda leaving. This would be as bad as Mulkey and Rhule leaving us.
