KPJ scored 50 when he was focused on being a shoot first player.

I have been telling y’all that they are the same player, both need the ball, both need to be shoot first, and trying to mush that’s together is a major issue.

So then why did Sengun only play 13 minutes?

You can cherry pick metrics all you want. Sengun is just not a good basketball player right now. Any bigman that can't finish under the rim or play defense is a huge liability. Missing layups isn't a mistake

There are things i dont agree Silas is doing. But the team is still young and the roster is overstocked at certain positions. Our schedule is also brutal

Ill do so when Sengun learns how to finish under the rim consistently. Deal?

What kind of question is that? Why are you asking me, I'm not the coach?

Green shouldn't be closing games right now, he's not good enough.

He needs to play less overall so he can get his bearings and maximize what time he gets.

Broken clock is right twice a day. KPJ and Green aren't even close to having the same potential. KPJ is just a dude who scored 50 points one time like Corey Brewer.

Thats stupid what the **** are we sitting John wall for then? **** it bring him back play all the vets that should help us rebuild nicely lol Kids can stay on the bench and get punished for being new lol Meanwhile the vets who suck and have been in for years but still sucks should take all the minutes. That should develop all our rookies good plan lol

DA hates Green because he took focus away from KPJ so he tries to push heat Jalens way. These guys are easy to read. The ones who wanted Mobley and are angry at Green and the ones who want it to be KPJ's team despite him looking like and even more turnover prone Westbrook who cant dribble either lol Whats funny is they are the first ones to tell people to stop whining put most of their posts are lowkey Jalen hate posts lol I just tell them to shut up and move on.

Find me all the greats who played this many minutes his rookie season while playing poorly.

Plenty of greats struggled early, but teams had enough common sense to reduce exposure and workload so they can concentrate on getting better. These are wasted minutes serving no purpose.

That is NOT common sense we are a ****ing shitty team and the entire reason we sat John was to let the young guys get playing time. Who exactly has earned minutes on this team. Wood looks like **** KPJ looks like **** Everyone looks like **** so why the **** are we going to punish rookies in favor of playing shitty vets when we are not trying to win anyway. The **** ya'll think of makes no common sense at all and either youre stupid are you are hating on someone and using this a cover to mask the hate. We barely play most of the young guys as it is. Green sat and KPJ played and we were worse so how do you get Green needs to sit in the closing minutes from now on from that?

Scoring 50 should not define someone.

People rather have him average 25 ppg on an efficient basis.

Never thought the day would come when Rockets would have the full buffet of ineptitude

    A cheap owner
    An inexperienced GM
    A 20 year assistant as a coach

Silas is not a good coach, being likable and cuddly does not win many games.

    Style of play - ?
    Identity - ??
    Plan -?

Team is a mishmash of young players, worthless vets and an overpaid practice player, thats on the GM

Ownership? If Cp3 doesn't pull his hammy, who knows where we would be, can't blame El Cheapo for that, but his lack or real money has cost us and taken us back to the Stone age

The coaching staff need to cut back minutes on both of them. It’s like asking them to sip water out of a fire hose. Their current playing time is to much to process and learn from. If they are finding success then add to their playing time. Additional benefit is this will open playing time to Christopher & Brooks. The more players playing the better our chances are of development which is the goal. The internal competition for playing time may help their growth as well. Yes I would have a 10+ man rotation by platoon players in till someone made me play them more. (Like Martin did yesterday, both sides of the ball making everything easier for your TEAM).

To answer the OP, if I were to be king the kingdom would still have problems but not these problems.

Real question is how did he still get 30 minutes with a -11 in a 1 point game? Right now Green is either taking a step back 3 that bricks 80% of the time, tries to break his man down and goes nowhere, or gets the the rim and gets blocked 60% of the time. He is not ready for the nba and is out there embarrassing himself, lowering his trade value and worse of all, this game I’m seeing some selfish tendencies as well, looking off teammates that are far better than himself. Force feeding him minutes is hurting his development and the development of others, losing games that are winnable (they will lose plenty anyways for tanking purposes) and killing the team’s morale.

Grow some balls and bench him earlier. Make him earn the starting spot like other rookies on the team.

Did not anticipate that you have to put in [Controversial] to talk about Silas.....by default.

Gee I don't know maybe it was that Theis was leading bthe Rockets in scoring and probably their best player yesterday?

Do you even watch or do you just look at the result. Or actually do you even look at the result?
