But would he average 20/10 and be the 2nd pick in the draft? @ThatBoyNick Franchise player 35.0% Borderline Allstar 56.4%
he’s like 2 tiers below Tyler Herro, and Herro is a scrub/2nd coming of Kyle Korver and KPJr would go top 3 in this draft easy according to CF Idk what angel touched him when he dropped 50 and 11 against Milwaukee…1 of the most random great games in NBA history
This is the thing that's so depressing about KPJ is like we saw him last year and it looked so promising. We saw what he was and we were like damn, how good can this guy be with some more experience, coaching, development etc. Playing the point full time and always having the ball in his hands. And then he comes back this year and is straight up worse at like...everything.
Nothing beats the Brewer 50 piece I think KPJ can be a talented 6th man if he puts it together, on the right team, with the right coaching staff and offensive system, with him throwing away his ego and accepting the Jamal Crawford role, he could potentially be a player that consistently does more good then harm. I don’t see the IQ and consistency for him every being a really good starter, he has all the tools except the big one up top. I just don’t see that situation here, rookie coach, the kids has no structure, he has a green light and is allowed to roam the court like he’s Harden which is insane. Send him to the Spurs before pops retires, maybe he can kick him in the ass and turn him into a dollar store Manu
I think he has the talent to be a borderline all star but I think he’ll most likely be a role player. Scoot doesn’t seem to be able to put all the pieces together. This is his 3rd season and we haven’t seen that “jump”. It’s likely not coming.
I watched him all summer play in these amateur leagues with bums and lose without any type of remorse or showing any killer instinct. As long as he gets his stats he's fine.
his only real nba skill right now is his handle. he's pretty far from being a playmaking PG. I think he needs to go back to the wing. work on becoming an efficient shooter, because he can make some tough ones so he shows some promise there. then he can be a Jordan Clarkson type. either way this team needs a PG.
why not just start wall or christopher, let kpj know he always has a locker here, see if it could shock him out
Hate to say it, but he may be the problem for our offense. Team looked more fluid with Augustin on the floor.
Has absolutely zero feel as a point guard. I like him as a player, but he can't be the lead ball handler. Just can't stop making bad decisions.
KPJ has so far not lived up to the expectations of cf over the summer. However, it's clear the guy has talent. From Kevin Love to Dejounte Murray to Anthony Davis nba players have a high opinion of his game. Whether at the 1 or the 3, Silas is going to have to figure out how best to use that talent. I'm still hopeful that KPJ can build off of last season and be effective as a point guard as I think that would be best for the Rockets.
