dunt get me wrong im not obsessed with picks, my point is if wood experiment failed or one day he just completely fed up hanging around with buncha 19-21yr kids in a rebuilding team, we should as early as possible make better use of his contract, convert his contract into something more valuable say FRPs or players who could better fit in with future system.

as we know age 25-28) quality role players are only willing to play for teams who can either offer better contracts or loaded with big name players, its just like wood chose h-town, bc he thought he would have got the chance to play alongside harden n brodie, then it naturally goes to picks issue, now our roster not yet have big names, so holding a certain quantity of FRPs (for consecutive yrs) is critical - more FRPs equals to higher odds of winning the lotteries and picking one in a million great prospects, n then only top prospects / top picks could potentially convert into future star players / franchise players who could help us recruit quality role players.

And yet he’d still possess the same glaring weaknesses that have been discussed

    Nice.

Agreed. I'm over CW. Dude's going to the first contender willing to part with a budding young player.

I think there's something wrong with this guy's brain. He seems completely disconnected from reality. On everything.

This is a legit problem. Christian Wood thinks he's Kobe, and he's not. He's playing like he annointed himself the leader of the team, but he's clearly not. There is no way he should've brought that ball up in the final seconds. There is no way he should be isolating at the FT line in the final minutes. The Rockets also need a point guard and KPJ is too sparatic at times

We got a good shot.......maybe Ego should have stopped and shot the midrange, not sure what everyone's issue is....Wood got us into a position to get a good shot.

Maybe, maybe not. Harden/Wood with the right personnel could be really scary, IMO.

We know what the personnel was. Wasnt scary at all. Wood honestly isn’t that great, especially when it comes to winning impact. And he continues to show that

This quote confirms what my eyes see on his me first mentality. I am moving from "I'd be OK trading him" to "I hope we can trade him"
