The point was to try to win. To put us in the best position to win. I mean if you're a diehard tanker then there is no point in that, and I get it, but he put the guys on the court he thought put us in the best position to win.

The way he's played thus far, he ought to get traded to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.

Honestly tate should not have been in either. KMJ should that entire first lineup was ass but atleast green was penetrating the defense somethin KPJ seems to not be able to do and when he does he ignores everyone open for 3. Sengun Theis KMJ Gordon Green wins this game.

I have no issues with nog calling a time-out necessarily in that situation but two things:
    - as soon as Wood took off, he should’ve called it
    - his reasoning is our half court offense wasn’t that good, which means he doesn’t trust the players - makes sense - but also not his own ability to draw up a solid play. That’s worrisome!

I understand what you want to see, but this is not high school ball. You can draw up all the “plays” you want but remember they are out there against another good NBA team putting pressure on them. We have two very young and inexperienced guards trying to run the offense. That will be a struggle for a while and that’s just how it goes. Neither of them are on the level of Isaiah Thomas or Magic coming into the league out of college. We only 9 games in so we have a lot time to go. Patience!

Oh yeah because MDA really used to light that fire. lol

Honestly though you are right but there aren't many coaches in this era that can. Pop is never leaving Spurs. Jeff/Stan really don't know how to manage stars (I'll never forgive him for shipping my guys Francis.) Adelman is retired. All our other candidates we were grooming are else where by now.

I'm just highly disappointed in Silas. No lie when Jalen Green was subbed out I wasn't feeling that. Then that last possession he did nothing and there wasn't even a real legit shot attempt to win the game. Any defense should be at our mercy regardless because granted we're young we still have the damn talent! Just don't have the coaching talent I see.

Surprised no whining about a foul on Tate, which it wasn’t, but that’s good to see.

    No senor.

I've always said the first 20 games are "murders row"

    Team..............Result........my prediction with Wall
    T-Wolves............lost............................win
    Thunder.............win.............................win
    Celtics...............lost............................lose
    Mavs..................lost............................lose
    Jazz...................lost............................lose
    Lakers................lost............................win
    Lakers................lost............................lose (lost by 2 in L.A.)
    Suns...................lost............................lose
    Nuggets.............lost............................win
    Warriors............. ---- ............................lose

So I predicted 4-6 in first 10 games with John Wall.

It's been a learning experience for these kids vs mostly top NBA
    playoff teams last season.

Then the schedule gets easier.....and the kids will have benefited from this
tough early schedule. Not to mention roads games vs these top caliber
teams to boot, early this season.

72 more games after Warriors to win my predicted 25 games without John Wall.
Next victories Pistons followed by Blazers. Will be 3-9.....find 22 more wins the
    rest of the way.

Defense getting better and Offense getting better as well.
The untrained eye may not see it.....but I do.

Silas has done like the military does. Break down the new recruits to the basics.
"Basic Training".....now plays have been added. More reps and these players will
start mastering things to a greater level. Not saying 50 wins but 25 is attainable, imo.

We don't even run a motion type offense or one where there's lots of movement that makes the opposing defenses work. We do nothing to let the defense know they are at our mercy. I just don't understand why the game looks so hard for our guys. Some of the turnovers we are committing are just plain high school level errors. I'm tired of seeing the BS. I don't expect to win a lot now but we should be disciplined as a team during the games.
