My group has a corporate outing coming up and we are looking for ideas. We have 12-14 people involved, and $30 a person to spend. Here are the parameters we must abide by: Has to occur on a Friday. Must begin around noon, plus or minus around an hour. It can last all afternoon, but most people want to only spend a few hours, so they can go home a little early. No corporate purchased alcohol, plus we'd like to eat...so that's part of the money right there. Most of the ideas we've had are pretty mundane...bowling, Astros game, big lunch, ect. Anybody have any ideas? Anybody experience anything with their companies that would be a good idea? Brainstorming, examples, experiences, ect. are all appreciated.
Any real common interests since there are only 12-14 of you? A few things I've enjoyed at companies I've worked for: - Company picnic with rides for kids - Alamo Drafthouse (is there a Houston equivalent?) - Laser Tag (this was admittedly an IT group thing though)
Yeah, I believe it's called Alamo Drafthouse. They opened one in the old West Oaks theatre last year.
We once went to a bar out on NASA Road One. It has a pool in the back and you can also rent a jet-ski and ski the bay behind the pool. Can't remember the name of it, but it was perfect for about 15 people. I'm sure someone else knows the name of the place.
thirty bucks would pay for cover and one lap dance. You could eat the buffet and buy your own drinks.
Suprisingly Dave and Busters on Richmond and Fountainview is a fun place during the day with co workers. They have various corperate packages
