Thanks to George W. Bush, NAFTA, and the Supreme Court, this wonderful new business idea is now possible: I (being half-mexican) create a Mexican business. I buy a bunch of trucks and hire a bunch of Mexican truck drivers (cheap labor). My business offers a service to American factories of removing their industrial waste. The waste is loaded onto my trucks. The trucks are rigged to burn off toxic waste. They drive around the highways in circles burning off the industrial waste into the American atmosphere. Sounds perfectly legal to me. Thanks, Dubya! -- droxford
JUst a couple of things. 1. It just mean that Mexican trucks are allowed, while I'm not crazy about the idea, I can't say some good wont come out of it. Yes, they are less clean than the U.S. trucks, but there's enough cars polluting the U.S. already for this too make too much of a problem. 2. As far as your scenerio that you described, wont happen cuz it'd be too expensive. It be much cheaper to ship the toxic waste to mexico and let it rot there. Which is what the coroporations would rather do.
It's amazing how you people will go to any extent to bash the President. "Hey FranchiseBlade, start up the 'I Hate Bush Merry-go-round' again!"
What are you talking about? I hadn't even replied in this thread. I'm curious now, what are you talking about?
It's ok, if it's meant as an anti-liberal thing. I have no problems that I hate Bush's policies regarding the environment. I probably wouldn't have been offended, I was just curious as to why I was brought in the thread.
Your name probably came up first because technically you are a terrorist/terrorist sympathizer. You know, since you don't agree with Bush on everything.
