What was Green going to do getting the ball there? He’s basically trapped himself if he gets it and out of bounds acts like another defender.

No Ego, no Theis - forced to play the young guys and they responded......I really don't think Theis has a place, and EGo, House, NWaba should all be traded.

he could pivot and jack it up, or blow by the guy to his left, or throw it to a guy down low. better chance of that than kpj in the backcourt with 5 seconds left.

bottom line: green deserved the ball in his hands in that last possession imo

Segun missed 2 layups and had 2 dropped passes that would of lead to layups / dunks in a stretch the Lakers came back … think he was just tired and lost focus …

Really enjoyed the performance tonight from the Rox but boy…. the Lakers are a hot mess. That team is going nowhere and as much as he wants to ride on cruise control, it’s essential that Lebron takes over the vast majority of the game.

And the Lakers were smart to play him tight and deny him.

If only there were other 3ball shooters on the team like Armoni Brooks or DJ Augustin amirite?

I’m excited to watch Jalen grow but KPJ’s shot was better than what Green could of possibly gotten at that spot. Silas isn’t putting our players in situations to succeed. I agree the last shot should go to Green but we had a busted play. Kpj is who id want to take the shot also.
If we had a decent 2nd play we wouldn’t be so hard on KPJ taking that shot, which was a really good shot all things considered.

We played well and I think we will grow from this. I hate to say this but this was a nice moral victory. Porter played well, Green and Wood went off but it was those FREE THROWS and TURNOVERS!!!! Also, Gordon who I always say he is our best player but he did not play and we almost won. This tell me we have some talent. Coach Silas.... start Sengun and Martin and give Brooks ten minutes a game.

The 3 to put these frontrunners down would've been amazing, but oh well...
This was a huge game for our rookies growth. Even though he was invisible in the second half (his fault as much as everyone else's), Green showed up at the end. His issues are on the mental side of the game, and moments like these are a huge confidence booster for him.

I think it's Theis only. I think rockets win with EGO. Just start Sengun.

Great separation. The fact that AD almost got to that is nuts.
