I must admit , I really liked Barnes ..... There might have been 3-4 of us in that camp. The rest was Green / Mobley.


But I'm content for now with Green .... He'll start hitting shots and they narrative will change.

I believe Barnes' a keeper for sure. At the very worst, he'll be a Siakam clone but I think he'll be better.

 

I don't think Green should go to the G-league. He has paid his due in g-league and has shown enough to warrant a #2 pick. He should already have graduated from the g-league and be thrown in the big boy's game.

He just needs a stronger body to be able to go hard to the hoop.

 

As terrible as Jalen's shooting has been, he's at least showed some willingness and ability to pass beyond Gerald's. Not saying he's been a great playmaker or anything, but he is not a black hole on offense the way Gerald was for very long stretches of his career.

 

I don't think the G-league is worth CRAP, they don't play defense the speed of play is crap, there is little to no intensity.

He was in the Gleague last year and still came in way unprepared.

He needs to learn how to play against NBA players.

I don't feel like gleague will be helpful. If anything it would just build more bad habits. He needs to learn to finish at the rim against NBA bigs instead of just jumping over everyone like he did last year.

 

Jalen Green has played six NBA games. If he's struggling this way after 30 and not showing growth, then maybe I'll begin to be a tiny bit concerned. It's like everyone here forgot that not every player is going to come in and show their full arsenal day 1. This is a process and it's in the earliest of early stage of said process.

 

But they want to send Christopher and Garuba.

 

You can evaluate a 19 yo rookie after 6 games, you are truly gifted and should work in scouting, your talents are clearly being wasted in your current occupation.

cmon he barely played 10 or 15 games it wasnt a true league... he need repetitions and playing time he needs a lot of games under his belt

 

this isnt about paying the dues... its about getting more experience PT and repetitions
