Well...Minter and Matzek can't pitch for the next 2 games. Didn't think we'd ever lose a game 2-0 but you move on to the next one. At least I'm assuming they won't be using them tomorrow.
What's lost in this... if you need to shut out the Astros to win, you're going to lose the series... We pitched well tonight... They used their main bullpen guys... they risk it if they use any one of them tomorrow they can't likely go to them in game 5..
So disappointing. Losing always sucks but this was a terrible performance by our hitters. They were awful tonight. They wasted a great night by the pitching staff. Terrible job at the plate tonight. get your **** together and win tomorrow
Can't risk pulling something. He's like one of the grandparents in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at this point.
It's very doubtful they can do this in Games 4 and 5 given their lack of starters. My concern is that we can't count on the Astros pitching to repeat tonight's performance either.
Too much HeroBall - Tuve’ , Bregman, CC …. None are trying to go the other way or get on base … it’s maddening
I blame Hallion. The good news is he won't be HPU again this season. Not happy, but I believe in the team.
Our offense was a JOKE. IMO,we have to move Bregman back in the lineup. Our pitching was more than adequate tonight, our feast or famine bats were complete FAMINE tonight.
