Had to believe someone dressed like that for an interview and would turn around and attack anyone who said she looked good.

for real all these movies look lifeless and boring. Give me some old skool **** for god sakes. Y’all really need to jump on that 4K bandwagon cause these old movies with the new 4K transfers looks like a completely different film.
Dune was boring and lifeless, at least the 80's version had campiness and unintentional hilarity to make it a cult status movie. The new Dune is a movie that takes itself too seriously and barely delivers on the premise on the series. Have fun watching endless shots of desert dunes that will put you to sleep.
I think at the end of the day . . .. Eternals is basically another SUPERHERO MOVIE FOR PEOPLE WHO HATE SUPERHERO MOVIES The attempt to be artsy and uber deep trying to get Oscar considerations and have the "critics" swoon in the end Those Critics hate superhero movies and hated it out the box The other critics are looking for the good ole formula and don't like the diverging tone/story/etc In a sense. . . tried to appease everyone and ended up appeasing no one I will see it this coming weekend but all the feed back I am hear leads me to this conclusion Rocket River
I think that's a pretty fair assessment based on early reviews. Disney is trying to grow the brand and suck in other demographics. The thing is, they don't need to. The MCU and Marvel superheroes are cross-demographic already. I don't need an MCU version of Steel Magnolias. But we will see when it drops. There have been movies that critics have panned that the public loves. You just noted how the biases are stacked against the MCU movies already. RR announced he was going to take a break from movies recently- not sure what's up with that as I haven't followed it too much. I can say that he's 9-figures rich at this point with his investments and probably never needs to work another day in his life.
