Good call. Mr. Scarface posted the following in the ALCS thread after the two losses to Boston, "It was a good season, but face it. The Redsox are better. Redsox in 5." https://bbs.clutchfans.net/threads/official-alcs-astros-vs-red-sox.313362/page-175#post-13758040
The negativity is strong on CF. Do you guys realize we made it to the WS again? We still have a great chance of winning the whole thing. Relax and enjoy the show.
Hate to say it, but I really like Fried as a pitcher. He scares me more than anyone else on that staff.
There's some people on clutchfans that are like rats who crawl around from one thread to another spreading their negative droppings of hate and negativity and are CLUELESS to what joy and happiness and optimism is all about. The Astros are in the F'n World Series for the 4th time in over FIFTY YEARS, and instead of enjoying it and soaking in the experience, they can't do it, so they do what's in their nature and that's trying everything in the power to try and ruin it for others. It's in their DNA!! He should change his monitor to Mr. Rat.
Alex Bregman Hamstring injury, is really effects his running the bases, fielding 3B, Having Power in his legs to hit Home Runs. Alex Bregman running the bases this whole postseason, it looks like he is struggling. I know he runs faster. It looks similar like Altuve last year knee injury, struggling hitting and grimacing while running.
I think the Astros are the Rangers when they were in the World Series. Strong Batting Lineup, Inconsistent Starters. The Braves pitching Staff looks similar to the Giants Championship team
Fried last outing (against the LAD in L.A.): 4.2 IP 8 hits 5 ER 2 BB 2 HR They loss 11-2. Yes please!!
Bregman isn't hitting with any real power, so 3rd is definitely an odd spot for him. He does have the 5th best OBP on the team through the playoffs (behind Alvarez, Gurriel, Correa, and Brantley) though, so he's still getting on base. Since he's still getting on base at a decent clip, but isn't demonstrating any real power putting him 7th may not be best. He's not in a good position to drive in anyone on base ahead of him (lack of power) and if he gets on there's not much behind him to drive him in. Since lefty separation is important, I'd consider moving Bregman to first instead of Altuve. Put Gurriel or Correa in the 3 slot and move Altuve back (he's getting on base less than Bregman but has more power). So: Bregman Brantley Correa/Gurriel Alvarez Gurriel/Correa Tucker Altuve McCormick/Siri Maldanado
