    Before anyone thinks that the national media or national fans like us or are neutral I just heard NPR (yes National Public Radio) describe the World Series as a battle of Good vs Evil. Guess which team is evil?

    I just read an article from NPR on the subject, may be the same content.

    Of course one of the reasons ATL are the good guys is because they have a couple guys that have been with the team their whole career. And the article doesn't say a word about the Astros being the most homegrown team in the entire postseason...

    Did you mention to NPR that MLB took the All-Star Game away from Georgia because of reasons NPR might be interested in?

    btw, I know that when I want hot sports takes, I tune in to NPR

    I always like my sports takes in a low measured half-whispered voices.. ;)

    Actually in the piece they did talk about the problems with the Braves notably that they still do the Tomahawk Chop.

    This is hilarious: year-old news, now being reported in the middle of the World Series by the NY Post. Nope, no agenda here!

    Former Houston Astros executive Brandon Taubman was reportedly reinstated by MLB last year, according to Joel Sherman of the New York Post.
    ...
    MLB allegedly reinstated Taubman after finding he played no role in the team's sign-stealing scandal. The league also said Taubman made amends with the reporter he targeted, has worked for a domestic abuse center and undergone therapy.

    Taubman reportedly has no plans to seek employment in MLB.

    Rest of the article is just a rehash of 2-year-old news.
