You mean it was crazy how quickly he found his destiny of becoming the greatest player China has ever seen?

Confirmation Green will soon be known as Jalen, and on the same level as Trae and Ja

I stand by what I said.

He's not a bust after 2 terrible games, he's not the best rookie on the team after 1 hot shooting game.

Let's not knee jerk one way or the other.

Sengun is pretty clearly the most NBA-ready of the rookies

Unquestionably true, and I sold him VERY short at least when it comes to his defense.

IMO he's been the most impressive rookie in the entire league thus far....despite not getting much playing time.

Really. Are you saying that the Chinese haven't seen James Harden?

Perhaps I should have specified the Chinese League.

Haha I forgot. Every rocket is MVP. Every rocket is hall of fame. Anyone say otherwise is stupid.

Can Green score 50 points in a game this season. I'LL predict 40 something.

My favorite part of his game is he scores within the flow of the game. He not going to take others shots to get his points. He seems to be becoming a well rounded player vs just a scorer.

I think we can be excited about Alpi and Jalen. I also like Josh Christopher and Garuba. This was a historic haul. Get some of the non-likeable dead weight in House off the roster, eventually move Gordon and Wall one way or another, maybe one more top pick next year, then bring in some veteran leaders and go for it.

I could totally see Green being a 25ppg player in 2-3 years and Alpi being a 20-10 player. That's an amazing core to build around.

I also like Tate, as our modern day Elie.

Wood - I like him, but I wouldn't pay him the max. He will not have the same impact on winning Alpi will have.

There might be an argument for Duarte and D. Mitchell. Of course, they are older rookies, 24 and 23 years old. Sengun is remarkable because he looks NBA-ready at a younger age.

Totally, I meant our rookies. Out of all rookies, I'd definitely give the edge to Duarte, probably Mitchell too but I haven't watched him enough to say.

fwiw: if Sengun scores 30 in any game this year (except the last game), he will supplant Green as 3rd youngest.
