I think you mean Puddle of Mudd, unless there are two crappy bands with very similar names.

    Hallelujah!

I couldn't be more happy about this news.

I hope Stapp's new solo album goes down in flames and he is homeless in a year or two. Way to turn on your bandmates, Stapp!

Nope. I've heard their music, doesn't appeal to me. I just can't imagine hating someone's music so bad that it'd make my day better when their band breaks up.

Creed, Britney Spears, and the myriad of other music I don't enjoy personally doesn't bother me just by the fact that it exists. It doesn't make my day worse that it does and won't make my day any better when it ceases to. Obviously, I'm in the vast minority here, though.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Back from the slimy pit of hell from which you crawled Creed. Back to hell, demons! Thank God that sorry bunch of poseurs has gone the way of the passenger pigeon, dodo birds and Plymouth....

I don't care either ... usually when I don't like an artist, I don't listen to them. If I don't listen to something, it doesn't affect me when they're no longer around.

I dont see what the big deal is either. Some of their crap was ok but I dont care really. There are people that I cant stand but I'm not throwing a party when they go away.

Finally, this is great news indeed. I'm so full of joy right now, though I don't really have anything against the other guys, just that a-hole Stapp.

    I'm with you RM95....

Plus, even though they broke up we'll still hear their overplayed no-talent music on the radio.......ALL THE TIME.

I.M.O Creed sucked big-time. So, yes I am happy they are gone. Not throw a party happy, but still pleased.

    Creed sucks

I don't like stuff that sucks

Therefore I am happy they are gone.

(Looks like that Logic class I took 3 years ago isn't paying off :D )

It's about time those no-talent asshats disbanded. Now hopefully I'll never have to hear them on the radio again.

The way I read into the whole break-up is Stapp became to big for his britches and, when that happened, he put himself above the needs of the band. He had all his side deals going on and he wasn't focusing on his role in the music. I think Stapp is going the way of David Lee Roth...lol. I know...there is no comparison between Creed and the old Van Halen. I didn't know Diamond Dave was such a big jack-ass until he got the boot from VH. Then, it became apparent he should be ring leader of a circus. Maybe Stapp will end up running his own circus?

    I can see it now...the Stapp-Roth tour in 2005.

    Oh YEAH!

Call it the "Legs Wide Open" tour. A tour name thread for such a tour would be fun....:D

I actually loved their first album when it came out, saw em tour on it, decent show, but it all went downhill after that as Scott's prima-donna antics just don't vibe well with your modern hard rock fan, plus thier music changed in order to become main stream, lousy sellouts

I thought the funniest part of the article was the guitarist thinking Jamey Jasta and Joey Jordison would ever agree to have their names associated with a member of Creed, ever.

Now who will Sevendust tour with?!
