Yeah, 30 point game in the first 3 regular season games of his career. Guess the bar is now a 40-burger What's the youngest age to get 40 points? Edited: He's coming after you Cliff Robinson 45 points
Next message after his first 40 piece: "Pfffft 40? Even his teammate put up a 50 piece last year. Try again, Jalen"
He doesn't scream Westbrook to me at all despite jumping out of the building. Russ is a lot more angry/intense where Green feels more controlled. The athleticism is similar though I'll give you that.
Now I see the resemblance.....the whites of the eyes I remember when Korver had hops like that at age......NEVER
He shot great last night, but honestly he didn't play dramatically different in the first two games. In all 3 games he distributed the ball well, did a good job of not overly forcing himself on the game, and created open outside shots for himself. The difference is that he made them in game 3. He also had the same weaknesses: not being able to play through contact when he has the ball, and being a negative on defense. I am definitely happy he had a breakout game. But it didn't blow me away because I expected his shot to start falling; those first two games were shooting outliers.
Calvin Murphy said he spoke to Jalen before the game. I think he told him to keep shooting. I bet Jalen is like who da fukkk is this old pimp telling me about basketball.
NBA.com and ESPN.com now both list Green at 6'4 186 @D-rock RIP G-League and summer league 6'6 listings Side note, anybody notice how tiny this dude's head is? Maybe it was just him standing next to watermelon dome Marcus Smart last night, but it stood out lol
I didn’t want to say anything, but I had been noticed this. He literally has the tiniest damn head I’ve ever seen on an adult male! I noticed it first when he was standing next to Cade Cunningham in summer league. It’s confusing and freaked me out. He easily loses 2 inches alone on having a miniature skull. He has the dome of an 8 year old. Spoiler: 6'6 with a normal sized head Spoiler: Tiny Head Jalen Green
