Sleep Number is expensive but there is no comparison. Far and away the best.

Everything I've read about them points to them being overpriced and lacking dependability.

I'm looking at Saatva right now as they have adjustable offerings and a much better warranty/customer service rating.

I bought a Personal Comfort 4 years ago when I was browsing Sleep Number. Sleep Number had a more finished product but I didn't care for all the fancy stuff. What I like most about the Personal Comfort is the toppers zip onto the mattresses. You can add or remove different layers or change out different types of foam inside each layer.

I would like to see a bed that allows different sections of the bed to be adjusted using different bladders instead of one single bladder for each person.

i've been leaning towards casper Nova Hybrid since some family members have one and have liked it. I'm debating on the adjustable/elevating bed frame but i'm not completely sold.

If you're looking to cut costs, you could sleep on a futon or a sex swing. Both multi purpose!

Best mattress I've ever slept on. I've had it now for six years and I still fall asleep as soon as Iay down down most nights. Not the best sex mattress (too much give imo) but it gets the job done. All mattress stores are the same but I got it from Mattress firm. I got the Cali king which is around 3k

I should look at this... does it have a relative firm edge? I worry traditional foam mattresses would be too saggy when I get out of the bed (if that makes any sense).

makes sense...a couple of reviews i've found say that the casper does a decent job at edge support. I think foam mattresses, in general, don't have necessarily great edge support

I agree with you it is a quality of life purchase and will probably up my budget BUT they are way overpriced for what the material actually is being used and my need to get a deal is just too strong.:D

I have actually been surprised when shopping I thought most were way more exspensive.

I'm well aware of how the mercantile system works.

Do you think if you pay more that makes it better?

    Poor guy.

    I feel sorry for you.:(

Seems like Texas Mattress Makers was advertising they could build a bed with two different halves based on two people's different preferences.
