I think he kept saying “he was” so guessing he’s talking about someone’s else’s free throw shooting motion.

There is certainly an opportunity for a win here.

1. Home game.

2. Like the Rockets, Celtics have a some new players plus a new coach. There's some unfamiliarity and we may be able to take advantage.

3. Defensively they've had miscommunications. Seem to like to switch defense between 1-4, but not with their center. Their guards and their center Robert Williams are not always on the same page.

4. Raptors had lot of fast break against us in pre-season; they did it to Celtics too. If we indeed 'play with pace', there's opportunity there.

5. Their 2nd unit lacks in height and size. If we rollout the Tate/Nawaba 2nd unit, there's some chance of us with some bully ball on them. If I was Silas, I'd tell our 2nd unit to play physical.

6. Apparently Tatum is exhibiting some selfish instincts (aka not trusting his teammates), there could be some defensive opportunity there.

7. With KPJ being more official on PG duties, Marcus Smart is their new full-time point guard. This is an interesting match-up. Marcus is learning the ropes to.

In many ways they're finding their identity similar to us, except they're under expectation of being a playoff team.

 

i think this is a chance we shouldn't miss.... 2 wins in a row? are you kidn me... the hype would be so strong!

Smart is pretty great on defense he might give KPJ some significant issues.

If you're Celtics, this is the game you want after starting 0-2. They'll win big unfortunately for us. Would love to see a competitive game though. Hope Jalen can get his 3 pointer % up, he's 2-11 so far. Let's get average up to 33% through the course of the season!!

 

I don't really care if the Rockets win or lose, I just want to see Green be halfway competent for the first time and see continued development from guys like KPJ and Sengun who have already looked good this season.

Anything on top of that is just a bonus.

 

I just want us to be competitive in games.

I’d rather be us than them right now. I think they are starting to see that Tatum is not that all around star player they need him to be to compete for a title with that roster. He is a #2 on a contender.
