Well, he has been declared a free agent. Should the Rockets pursue him? He would be a good fit w/ SF at the 2.

he cant be our point if steve is a 2. the guy is 6'1", that would really give us the smallest backcourt in the league.

If he & Cassell were both healthy I think the WCF would have gone 7 and Minnesota possibly would have won. He would be a great addition.

Troy is a good scoring point. Not a pass-first point. Not a good defender. Not a system player.

    Not a fit with Yao.

I think Hudson and T-Wolves already have plans to resign him.

But Hudson would be a nice backup PG.

Yeah, so well, they never made it out of the first round until this year, when he was injured for a majority of it. I thought we wanted to get out of the first round.

Because they got an opportunity to pick up Cassell when Brandon couldn't pull through. Plus, Hudson was on IR at the beginning of the season and they had no PG. So now w/ Hudson available, this would be a good chance to have a good PG to run the offense w/ SF at the 2.

Come on RM95, you gotta post, right? It's like crack to you.

Hudson averaged 23.5pts, 5.5assists against the Lakers in the 1st round series against the Lakers. So he was dubbed the Lakers killer.

He kinda reminded me Nick Van Excel.

this guy has bad shot selections, and is a shoot first point guard.

Hudson is not a better pg than SF, and SF is not a better sg than mobes.

If we traded SF and had a hole at pg, go ahead and sign him up with part of the MLE, if no one else is available.

    Otherwise, pass.

I wouldn’t mind getting a shoot-first point guard like Hudson as long as he’s an EFFICIENT shoot-first point guard. Meaning he doesn’t need to dominate the ball to be effective, has a decent FG%, and doesn’t turn the ball over as much as he gets assists. If Hudson can do that, then I would have no problem the Rockets pursuing him.

I feel like an Expert on this one. I watched Troy play in High School in Carbondale IL, I went to the same college (SIU) and watched every game, and have followed him closely. He is a great scorer and at times an awesome clutch player. I think he would be a great scoring 6th man for alot of teams. I don't think he would work WITH francis, I'm not sure if hes even close to what Van Gundy likes in a player, but if Steve goes he could be a good pickup maybe. Id love to see one of my favorite players with my favorite team, but I just don't think he is a great fit for Van Gundy ball.

BTW, when he started last year, Hudson had a great asst/to ratio. MUCH MUCH better than Steve's.

I think he would make a good 6th man. Wouldn't want him to start though. It's not easy for a 6'1 PG to pass into the post.
