"That's why it hurts me to see where it is now, because I believe those fans deserve to be living those high times and to be experiencing those great moments and it hurts to know that they're not, and to know that they're struggling," Watt said. "So, I hope that they get back there at some point and I hope that they get to do that because I know firsthand it's an unbelievable place to play when you're rolling."

I dont give a fk what religion u practice. I mocked only the dumbasses who uses it to influence franchise altering decision in sports. Like how posters btch about mixing politics and sports is a big nono u apply it to religion also.

Religious charlatan like easterby should not b influencing or involved on how our franchise should b but we have a dumbass owner so it is what it is.

Idk what religion u claim u practiced but I don't think u are a being good one if u are wishing harm onto people u never met over sports.

At the end of the day it's just sports. Even if I mocked dumbass3s who use religion as a way to build a great team is foolhardy, it doesnt justify u wishing harm on folks.

I have met all of them actually.

And your not making sense so you can make fun of and mock peoples religion because they use it build a team and call them dumbass3s….but it’s ok because your attacking them because that’s how they decide they want to build their team.

But it’s not justifiable I wish harm on players who are no longer with my team??

And dude do you know how many posters on here you use to wish and pray for curry or klay or KD to get hurt when facing the rockets in the playoffs when we use to go back and forth with Golden State.

Even some posters cheered when KD and klay got hurt.

    So relax man.

This Texans team is worst than the original team. Texans get beat by Cardinals about 45 to 3.

No need to root for a JJ injury. That's ****ed up no matter how you look at it. Hopkins and Murray can tear their pectinate line for all I care.

Also, it's moronic to use a specific religion as the framework for the way your organization operates unless that organization is a charity or non-profit serving people through Christ, etc. The Texans are a business, in the traditional sense, and using that not only possibly alienates your employees, but it's fostering a culture of groupthink and a lack of acceptance of others.

I think it was Wade Smith who told a story about Kubiak. Kubiak is a devoted Christian guy and before one of the meetings he printed out cards with a specific bible verse on it. It was meant to be used as a teaching moment for the meeting. Wade pulled Kubes aside afterwards and pointed out that a decent amount of guys on the team are muslim, etc. and it may not rub everyone the right way, bc it can make people feel alienated. Kubes completely understood where he was coming from and adjusted.

If you want to use Christian ideals to govern how you as an individual live your life, and by extension aspects of your decisions in the workplace, then fine. But Jack Easterby has completely warped the thought processes of this organization from the top down. Decisions are not being made in the interest of building the best football team.

There is a difference between the "culture" the Texans are building and having a good football culture.

The players all know it. They just shut up and say the right things when they are on the team because they are getting paid

Yeah I don’t understand praising Whitney for his comments. He stole money, contracts like his were an incremental step in destroying the franchise. Invest in players? b**** we stupidly invested in you, and as soon as you put pen to paper on your outrageous contract, you magically grew a bear belly and your speed and stamina aged 20 years. Go **** a goat.

Religion has done a lot of good. Even the most godless among us will admit that. It's foolhardy to want to strip away religion solely because you think it will bring about "peace" and lessen conflict. People will find something else to fight over. Every time.
