I'd be (pleasantly) surprised if he goes beyond 3. Even if he's dealing, not sure Dusty would want him to go a second time through the order, let alone a third. Our bullpen is rested, gotta use them.

It won't be fast enough. I have about as much confidence in him right now as I do 2017 Ken Giles.

Rhythm Is A Dancer. We need Garcia's best for 3 or 4 innings.

3 Batter Rule - You don't have to pitch to the 4th batter. But it does mean Brantley gets to see Eovaldi. He really does do MUCH better against righties.

If he was dealing, you'd probably let him go until he had 2 baserunners (or roughly 85 pitches). Amazing as the bullpen has been this series, they were an obvious weakness going into the postseason. They may prefer to give Javier an extra day after 57 pitches in game 4.

I think the default assumption is Urquidy, but Javier is certainly a possibility as is Odorrizi or Grienke. I think a lot will have to do with how things go tonight.

In his last interview he said they adjusted some mechanics to match what he was doing earlier and had gotten away from later in the season. The changes put less pressure on his knee. So I hope that is true.

Realistically, I have very little confidence that it is actually true.

Batter by batter and pitch by pitch. There will be a leash, but a very short one.

I'm not entirely confident until the next game starts.

I'd be ok with a 3 or even 4 inning outing with minimal to no damage. If he goes 5 I'll be estatic but that's probably not likely.

Grienke is pretty much bp at this point of his career. Hopefully they just close it out tonight.

Bookies apparently got a Rule change by MLB. Teams may no longer play a game under protest. Bookies benefit most from this rule change.

It is times like this that I am reminded of the words from the wise Johnny Lawrence, "The Best Defense Is More Offense."

Here's to hoping the Astros win by 15+ runs today. I've got some cheese in the fridge to go with the whine that would cause.

Garcia/Odorizzi makes me think we will need to score a lot of runs tonight.

I think the Astros need 8 runs minimum

Oh my, if that were to happen the whining of "they're cheating" would be so much fun.

I didn't feel this type of angst during last year's game 7, that game 7 we don't talk about and @ Dodgers game 7.
I think it's because I want this world series for all the hypocrites. When the stros took it to game 7 last year vs the Devil Rays you didn't get hypocrites writing articles on 1 pitch because they were the Devil Rays.
