Green was supposed to impact scoring much sooner than Mobley. And I agree, only one game. But that doesnt mean we denigrate another player's real accomplishments because we like our player better.
The bolded part should honestly be a popup message for anyone that visits the BBS, until the season is over. People are getting it into their heads that we should be playoff-bound this season, Green should be averaging 30ppg and Sengun should be a 20/10 guy while Tate should be in the convo for DPoY. Lower. Your. Expectations. Immensely. You'll enjoy games more if you do.
You really are f'ing stupid. Go back and do your due diligence. If you're even semi literate it shouldn't take long.
Idk y there's Mobley fans on this site. Usually these only players fans appear for those that actually played on our team. No need for for thread pining for a player we didn't choose every game, move on. If u r gonna type in stone we trust or what not let it play out.
Hell to the naw The narrative was always that Mobley was too skinny to play defense against NBA centers and it takes many years longer for post players to develop their offense so the narrative was that whoever drafter MOBLEY would have fomo bc GREEN would be showing out. Calling out your straight bull
I’m hoping I see 15-18 ppg from green on a decent percentage and some assists since he is such hot garbage defensively…
This is going to be a painful thread. A reminder if we made the right choice... Oooooooor... we just trade for Mobley!
I’m really hoping that green doesn’t take so long to develop that by the time he becomes something special he basically gets picked up by another team? At least we will have an advantage in trying to retain our own players contract money wise but you don’t have an unlimited timeline for development either, 3-4 yrs to show out, meanwhile collect picks
It's nba why trade for Mobley when we can just sign him instead. Shouldn't be hard to get him to leave Cleveland.
As long as one of our 1st rounders hit and become the franchise player I don't care if Garuba ends up being THE guy lol
Said nobody with actual knowledge of basketball. And I love Sengun. The real question is will Green be better?
Why is it Sengun vs Mobley? Mobley is versatile and can play with anybody and it does not matter anyway with how bad this team is it's all about talent acquisition. Take the most talented player, period!
True, but Houston also isn't high on his list either. Hence why we should trade for him and set him up with the Harden "tour". But who are we kidding, pipe dream.
Yeah, I don't see that I see Mobley with Superstar potential and Sengun with Luis Scola potential - solid starter, but not a superstar. DD
