Agreed. Ball movement is best when all players have both high bball IQ and near-equal scoring/passing skills but that is hardly the case most of the time. I would rather have the ball in the hands of my best player most of the time who can make the best decisions at the right time. (Like a Harden or a Luka)
Becoming one of the serious favorites for ROY on his way to becoming a/THE man. Imagine this kid at 25 yrs old. 6 yrs!
If he’s the starter I think he gives you an easy 16 and 11 with 1.5 blocks as a 19 year old. Special talent that makes the team around him better, he needs to be unleashed.
He is for sure in the running, he just needs to get his conditioning good so Silas can play him more minutes. He's like so solid in every single game
Even if he has a decent year though, it's on bad team. So it's still delusion. There's going to be a 20 point scorer by default and I'd rather it be Green. The team is so bad either could be the guy though. But whoever it is I'd look at it with a grain of salt. This is a Kevin Love situation unfortunately where someone has to get numbers.
Green might struggle to score 20 this year. I don’t think Sengun will either. More like 14/10. Sengun is the better player right now.
Watch the last lay up of KPJ at the end of video and see how Sengun protects him from 3 Spurs players. Great!
Americans like to judge players based on their athleticism. That's why Jalen went second, Wiggins went first, Luka slipped etc. If you are judging pure basketball talent Sengun is head and shoulders above rest of the rookies. It's up to him where he takes it but he reminds me of Gasol so much... he is very quick and GOOD thinker, coordination for his position is elite, has solid fundamentals. And that are things that you can build on. These are the teenagers that belong in the NBA I don't really think Jalen should be in the NBA right now it makes him more harm than not. Load is too much for his thin body at that early age, he will exert himself. Lacks fundamentals like low dribbling, accurate passes, defense positioning, stance and approach. He will not be a top dog in the nba right now while he would in college and learn his role as a leader. Im sure both will be great basketball players but Sengun is the type of player that you want from the draft with top3 picks. Thank god we got him at #14
FT rate is same again, 18 minutes 4 FTA per 36 8 FTA when he settles in and have the offense run tru him more it will be 10+ FTs per game easily hes a new harden!
Yes to this. Hopefully Green will find his shot. KMJ has already found his, but I guess Silas wants him to wait his turn behind scrubs like Nwaba and Augustine.
