This deal with the Bulls ain't even worth doing if they're not including Curry. I wouldn't deal Cato for Fizer or Miller, I mean at least Cato's a real 5. At least he's 7 feet tall. Cato plus substantial change for Curry or NADA! ------------------
When I read the Curry part of this the other day, I thought it was a complete pipe dream, but now with the reports from the war room video camera thread, maybe Eddie Curry is in play. If the Bulls were planning to trade him for picks on draft day, why not shop him for veterans now?. The problem, of course, is matching salaries. I could see the Bulls being interested in Shandon and Cato, but would Miller & Curry match up contract wise? ------------------ "Someday I'd like to do something really meaningful with my life. The trade was pick #13, pick #18, and Cato (!) for Curry IF we could draft Diop with the #13. Curious trade....the Bulls would have ended up with Miller, Cato, and Diop at the 5. Apparently they were willing to go with Miller and Cato as "mentors" (eesh) for young Diop. If they were willing to go with that lineup, then who's to say they wouldnt want to go with Miller, Cato, and Curry? I have serious doubts that the Bulls are dense enough to give us Curry for Cato and Shandon. And Cato as Curry's mentor makes me think that Curry's weight problems may rise to the surface. Perhaps "The Stick" Bradley would be a better mentor. ------------------
Ok guys does anyone have a list of top-flight free agents for next year? Mainly the 4's and 5's. Regardless of available free-agents I am all for moving Kelvin. He is now entering the Rudy portion of his contract which means it is going to get a lot tougher for us to move him later if he continues to suck(what am I saying "if" for?). If Krause would be dumb enough to pickup Kelvins contract you guys are all invited to my house to watch Rockets games in the theater room (110" front projection screen. Now if only Les would broadcast Rockets games in HD). ------------------ "We need to FOCASS".... Akeem Olajuwon
