I was always skeptical about the aggressive timeline on Meyers after his injury. I've partially separated my shoulder before by getting flipped over by a goalkeeper, and I'd imagine the impact when he hit the wall was similar or even more violent. After it popped back in, I felt like I could keep playing, but over the next day or two, it felt like I couldn't even grip a tennis ball without weakness and pain. I have a feeling Jake will be out at minimum another week.
Generation is soft . Back in my day, you'd find another wall and pop that shoulder back into place. Nowadays games are missed. In all seriousness, get well Meyers. He was having a nice post season debut with some timely hits.
True. Although one of our pitchers needs to step the hell up in our rotation. Hopefully it's Framber tonight.
Prediction - There's a water leak at 4 AM and the score gets overturned. Three runs by Ted Williams are discovered.
Sometimes people don't understand the difference between playing with PAIN and playing with injury. Though often associated, one can be overcome and the other cannot. You can't make a torn muscle untear. If you break a bone, you stabilize it and then you are dealing with pain. But before that, it just won't work.
