So my plan for tomorrow is to not watch any of the first 2 innings. If we have held them to under 2 runs then we have a chance
Win G4 or G5, it’s not looking good but down 2-1 isn’t a death sentence. Will need to pitch better and get out ahead which we haven’t done yet…easier said than done, but lots of baseball still left in the series. We won’t do it but if we don’t score by the 5th I’d rather throw a position player out there and gear our pitchers up to 4 and 5.
What is Maldonado calling? What are these pitchers throwing? This is the worst 2 game stretch in Astros postseason history. It has to be.
We will miss him more as the leader. Without him Altuve and Bregman don’t have the makeup to overcome adversity
Even our "epic sign stealing scheme" resulted in the offense going blank in the ALCS, someone is tipping pitches or the Sox will just hit .350 on their way to a 5TH title in TWENTY YEARS.
They might as well have hit two grand slams in this game as well and they'd still have 1 less run than they do now.
Their numbers are suddenly insane. I get it teams get hot, but this would be the equivalent of an 8th seeded team hitting the playoffs and shooting 60% from 3 for no reason. I get our pitching isn't amazing but man they make it look like we're playing single A guys out there.
This series is still early and 2-1 deficit is not a major hole but who has confidence the Astros pitching at this point can get the Red Sox out?
We’re in the ALCS. You can’t upgrade a rotation in the middle of the playoffs. Our pitchers our performing below expectations and their hitters are on some weird run.
