I think the Rockets will make a bold move, just not with the Wizards.

I do not believe that the Rockets will trade Francis and Cat, so that to me rules out the #1 pick, and if Washington wanted picks, they would be better served talking to Boston, who might be willing to move Antoine Walker in a deal.

A Bold and very unpopular would be to give up Mobley......... I don't wish that and I don't want that but you never know!!!!!

P.s. Don't let that be the "bold" move !

I, like everyone else, would be shocked if they traded Mobley. However, I wouldn't be real surprised if they signed & traded Moochie in some packaged deal to get a solid starter at the 3/4/5 positions or to move up. I hope it doesn't happen, but if it improves the team, you have to do it.

You are probably right. If I were Washington, I'd see if I could trade the #1 pick to Chicago for the #4 & Brand or Fizer. I'd then trade the #4 to either Houston or Boston for multiple picks this year & in the future. I doubt that Boston will give up the #10 & 11 picks, so the Rockets could sneak in with #13, 18 & a future pick or two. However, if Boston offers Walker, then that changes everything. I just can't see them trading Walker for an unproven draft pick.

Why? Because you quoted Andy Katz? How cheesy. [IMG]

Great repost! But maybe Andy Katz should be getting some credit. I wonder how this jives with Rudy's statements that they had no idea they could get Griffin. Does give credence to the idea that they had Griffin rated one or close to it.
