Had to work tonight so I missed the game. Didn't want to just read about it or see a score and not have any real context... Found a place on the interwebs (this internet thing might actually catch on) to watch the full thing... and O-M-G. That was a good game. Glad I got a chance to watch it and seeing Altuve and Correa come up big against the Red Sox was so fulfilling. Let's Go 'Stros!!!

Also, it seems like FS1 is overselling Eovaldi. Garcia seems like the better pitcher to me, although just as questionable. Think Garcia has the keys to the car in this matchup. Just don't drive it into a John Wall too aggressively.
After the game, when the reporter asked Carlos Correa what time it was I wish he would have said "Time to pay me Crane!"
Reminds me of that “Seinfeld” episode where Jerry was dating that chick with man hands. They were dining at a restaurant and she reached over with her man hand to wipe something from Jerry’s face. It’s like she’s standing behind Biggio and reached around to give him an “oh my!” face. Lol.
Eovaldi is the better pitcher right now and has been nails in the postseason. He had the lowest FIP and walk rate in the league with the same strike out rate as García. He did that while pitching about 20% more innings than García. He was an all star for a reason. That doesn’t mean García wont pitch a better game today or that he doesn’t have as good of stuff as Eovaldi. Just that Eovaldi has currently put it all together better and more consistently this year. He’s the Sox #1 right now. It’s good the Astros came back and pulled this one out. You wouldn’t want to be facing their best pitcher already down 1-0 in the series.

I hope Crane never hears the end of it if he lets Correa get away. It’s going to make the decision to let Nolan Ryan walk look like a picnic. If everyone agrees that Correa should stay because he is one of the best Astros of all time, then you give them what they want! Don’t be the dumbass who let him go!
I have to take a little credit for the win. At first, I was breaking a superstition I’ve had for years about not wearing a team shirt on game day. I figured that was dumb and so I decided to break it. I wore an Astros shirt yesterday. GF and I got back home from the bar in the 6th and she made me change. Altuve then hits the hr to tie it. I should get a Red Sox shirt.
