Twice gave us 6 2/3 in August.

All 5 of his starts went exactly 6 innings in September.

6 2/3 in that first start vs the White Sox in the playoffs, was on his way to at least 6 in the second start until the injury occurred.

I dunno, but that's a valuable and consistent innings eater.

Agreed the game is played much differently these days, and especially in the playoffs, but I don't think any team can average 4 innings from their starter and win the world series.

Well that was fun. Terrific job by the bullpen tonight salvaging the game. Altuve and Correa reminding everyone they about that life.

Nobody cares about you or your little boy....

J/K. I was able to take my son one of the 2017 Astros World Series games and it was definitely an awesome experience.

The problem with that tandem, if we are being totally honest, they were choke artists come playoff time.

If Bagwell and Biggio have similar post season careers to that of Correa and Altuve, those Astros teams win at minimum 3 titles.

That 98 team had no business exiting before the NLCS, much less not winning a title.

Randy Johnson should have easily propelled us to a title along with Hampton.

I got this one last year. I wore this to game 2 against the White Sox and security tried to stop me from entering the stadium because of the word hate but I finessed my way in. Don't remember where I got it. Just clicked on a t-shirt advertisement in Facebook. @Yordan The Great

The writer of this article is giving Hernandez way too much credit on his catch of Tucker's ball.

The Astros had runners at first and second with two outs in the fifth when Hernández struck again. He made a back-handed grab in right-center on a ball hit by Kyle Tucker to leave them empty-handed once more.

    He overran the freaking ball.

He made two 'great' plays due to his poor reads.

Shades of Brian Hunter and Gerald Young.

I agree with the first one, I couldn't believe he had to dive for it, I thought to myself he must have made a terrible read on the ball.

    Regardless, Kike must be destroyed.

Was I the only one who had a horrible flashback of Benintendi when Kike barely caught that ball?

Well, the jury is still out on who is better. The best part is both players are fighting and that's a good thing.

Please show where I have ever questioned McCormick. I called you a d******d for saying it was good that Meyers got hurt. You are a terrible and not to mention casual fan. Meyers was doing fine and McCormick is doing fine. So dont get on here and put words in my mouth. Thanks.

Never has a team had the collective yips more so than against SD. They made Sterling Hitchcock look like Cy Young.
