ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Spurs 10/15/2021 (Preseason)

Pre-season's over... now the scary stuff really starts. lol.

 

the team as a whole want to be brick masons instead of basketball players

 

and not just one, bring in 20 shooting coaches... 1 for every player on the roster...all they do is the photo sessions.... they each need his personal shooting coach

 

Nobody can make an open 3....that's the problem

 

Looks like the Rockets stink was affecting the Astros...

After these 4 games, I still have yet to see KPJ and Green play with any synergy. Wondering how this will play out in reg season.

 

Rockets play well and we have fun or they get a lotto pick.. house money.. enjoy the ride.

 

MDA may have shorter rotations but he coaches beautiful offense.

And his last few seasons he started focusing hard on D.

Silas has crazy long rotations but the rotations are disastrous, either offense heavy or defense heavy.

And man, he plays ugly ball.

 

Silas apologists dont tell me Silas needs more time and he deserves the chance.... his players cant even shoot!!!!! this is the most basic basketball skill... none of them...dont tell me its not the coaching... he deserves at least Fire Silas! thread if not to be outright demoted or fired.....

Which was my biggest concern.

But I thought it would just be bad defense, its everything.

And Green may have salvaged his stat line in 3rd somewhat but he has 0's everywhere except for points.

Super inefficient.

 

Couldn’t watch the game soooooo how did things go?

 

Wondering if coach will eat into these kids a little. Young team needs discipline and some structure. Hoping we get to this point because it feels like these kids will be spending a lot of time figuring out whether they can hang with the big boys.

 

Blame Silas for lot of things but not hitting open 3ball or FT not on him.

Stone needs to get players that fit system and complement the core.

I think the real question is, who are those core players?
