I don't think Simmons will ever be a credible shooter, which is why I would say the more recent Draymond, and I'm okay with that. But not at the price they want, which is why I said that he was too expensive.


I have not read any of the other Simmons as Draymond takes though, fwiw.

Agreed. Simmons has to want to be in Houston for any trade to work.

Funny thing is, both Morey and Stone, did not care about stars committing to city. They bring them in and convince them during the rest of the season.

Stone may be changing that philosophy however.

 

What do u mean what? KPJr isn’t a good shooter. Green is an inconsistent, streaky shooter until further notice.

 

We need Gerald Green on this team. He is the shooter that can space the court for these young guys

What else are they going to say? I can't imagine them wanting to keep Simmons after all the primadonna drama, and Simmons doesn't want to be there. He showed up in Philadelphia because Rich Paul told him it was time to. Can't trade a star on a max contract that won't suit up for his team, even if it's all pro forma. Hundreds of thousands of dollars flying out the window, seemingly by the minute, is also a bit of an incentive.

Besides, I believe it. Teams have to think that the trade value of Simmons is approaching a nadir and that now is the time to buy. I think the Aussie is going somewhere soon. We'll see where soon enough, in my opinion. Morey will grind his teeth and take less than he wants to, but will spin it into the Sixers Deal of the Century. Again, in my humble opinion, of course.

I am pretty happy with our roster right now.

Continue to develop KPJ/JG/Sengun forcefully.

I am totally okay with these young guys struggling a little bit right now. In fact, I love it. It is the only way they will develop. Keep giving them minutes and opportunities to improve.

I’d like to see more KJ, too.
