I don't find any explanation on the internet as to why he refused treatment. Wouldn't want people to assume he was an anti-vaxxer when we don't know.
Easy intuitive leap; 80 year old white guy refusing treatment. Sure, could have been any number of things, but Occam's razor in the current political climate.
Sure the leap is easy when you decide evidence isn't required, but it may well be wrong. Guy could have been in poor health anyway and refusing any extensions of his life. He could have been suffering from dementia and didn't have a loved one stepping in and taking control of his health care. He might have been under the impression that it was unlikely that a bat would actually be carrying rabies and thought treatment would be a nuisance.
Big Picture > Granularity There's a growing anti-medical sentiment stemming from the anti-mask/anti-vax movement on the right.
Sure, I agree with your big picture. My complaint is about disinformation. This example might serve to illustrate the anti-medical sentiment on the right if it is true. But if there's no evidence it is true, you're actually just misleading people and/or undermining your own credibility.
Sports and the anthem is sacred myan. The workplace... That's where I took a **** five days out of the week
it’s pathetic how they bring their kids along making them catch 2nd hand embarrassment imagine spending your Saturday at this nonsense instead of playing Xbox as a kid
I mean, on one hand, they seemingly do fit the protagonist of a typical Hollywood summer blockbuster. Is that why am I reminded of that Rick and Morty episode where Jerry thrives in Cronenberg Earth?
