that is definitely a song of its era...one of many that conjures memories summer nights at astroworld in the 80's.

fatty has been sidelining as a sentimentalist lately which isnt a bad thing, but im beginning to miss rude and crude fatty. dont forget who you are brah!

As a singer I promise it's hard to sing in the wind. Such a great singer.

The year 2000. Driving 500 miles to try & save my marriage with my kid. Found out she had a new guy. She had the police tell me to leave. Stayed in a hotel for the night trying to make sense of it all. Was driving back and had a blowout 15 miles outside of Texarkana. On a Sunday. Nobody was open and I didn't have a spare. This was also when Cell phones were in their infancy, but I figured it out. While I was out there for several hours waiting for help, after everything, this song came in my mind. I still love that it did, because it was the worst day and it made me giggle. May seem odd, but I love to make myself chuckle in bad times.

Looking back at this comment. What a horrible thing to say. I'm hoping you just needed to vent but, Christ. That is one of the most hateful comments I've seen on here by someone who wasn't a troll.

That sounds really tough all the way around. I'm sorry you went through that, but I suspect it allowed you to grow as a person in some ways.

    Lay a whisper
    On my pillow
    Leave the winter
    On the ground
    I wake up lonely
    There's air of silence
    In the bedroom
    And all around
    Touch me now
    I close my eyes
    And dream away
