And Jalen Green just looks scared of these guys to me. He had the one solid but not spectacular game, but otherwise he has looked like a third stringer - not the #2 pick. And the problem is if he isn't able to score yet at this level then he is basically a negative in every aspect because he doesn't appear to do much of anything else. I'm really hoping he adjusts quickly and finds a way to score against these bigger, stronger, quicker defenders.

I will say I'm glad to be reminded what guys like Booker and Beal did in their rookie seasons. I know in my heart it's irrational to be freaking out 3 preseason games in but it's been so bad!

I also went and looked and Lebron James scored 9 points in his first preseason game.

This everyone sharing the ball offense isn’t going to get jaylen good numbers. Remember we ran the same offense when harden was here for a few games and everyone thought it was stupid. You want your best player controlling the ball, not just running around and setting screens. Look at Luka and Trey, the offense runs through them. We should run the offense through KPJ and Jaylen, both can average 20+

There might be disagreement on who the best player is.
And why does Green have to have good numbers? I would rather see good numbers organically that coincides with team success over inflated numbers on a bad team.

Yao crossing his legs would be enough force to knock Green from the three point line to the baseline.

Which is it? Run the ball through your best player? Or run it through Green?

Those two aren't mutually exclusive and kind of contradict each other.

I would prefer the inflated numbers and bad basketball. Honestly. My goal would be to turn him into a scorer first. Get him used to it. Get him used to getting to the free throw line. And let him get frustrated losing. He'll get some bad habits learning how to score, and that's ok. Winning isn't near as important right now, adversity is. Leadership emerges, if ever, through learning how to lose and make difficult decisions.

Actually garuba played specific defence role while starting for Real Madrid but Beşiktaş's ( sengun's former team) offence was played on Şengün.

agree, but staggered! meaning Jalen should be coming off the bench. Luka and Trey don’t have another primary playmaker sucking their oxygen on the floor.
More sophisticated offenses, with ball movement where players play off each other are above this group’s capabilities right now, with exception of Sengun maybe. In a few years maybe they’ll develop some team offense feel, but not now.

KPJ needs to start, as he’s shown the talent to make plays at the NBA-level.
Jalen has shown it at G-league level. Next step,is NBA bench units.
    It’s that simple.

So you literally just tried to say it was everybody else calling femininity a negative trait...and then went on to list why you think femininity is a negative trait. You are not a serious person at all, are you just stupid or really this ignorant? Most flamboyant and gender bending NBA player in history is Dennis Rodman, multiple time NBA champ, so **** off with your bullshit narratives all ****ing day. And yeah I get it, y'all love to start crying about "language" and act like snowflake little p***y ass b****es every time you get actually confronted, you're a picture perfect alt-right troll.

It was obvious from game one that he was going to struggle creating off the dribble against stronger competition, and that's supposed to be his strength.

It's going to be a long road for him. He needs to add muscle without losing speed, and I'm not sure his frame will allow for that. He also needs to work on his change of speed. Speed is relative, and if your going 100% all of the time, you're much easier to guard.

He's going to need at least all year, maybe even 2, before he's worthy of that 2nd overall pick.
