Yup. Start all of the young guys, take your lumps and then move those pieces that dont fit at the end of the year prior to the draft.

Yes. I honestly don't even know what the point of signing Theis to a multi year contract was.

He does more "veteran" things on the court than Theis.

Our starting 5 at the moment are like headless chickens when things don't go well.

Didn’t we sign him before the draft? Though you could make the argument we didn’t need him anyways. I thought he’d be more valuable then what he’s shown but I get that feeling about everyone on the team after 3 games. Makes me continue to wonder about Silas.

It doesn't matter. He'll get playing time whether starting or on the bench.

I will say though, I am eagerly awaiting to see some of that great Theis defense that folks were talking about in the off-season. I suspect right now he's just pretending to suck so that opponents build up a false confidence.

Sengun is a starter. Theis is not. Theis will eventually go to the bench to 'anchor' the second unit youngsters. This charade will soon end.

Where’s the option for “he is not ready but yes he should start”

I actually don’t mind Theis as a backup big, he does basically everything you would want your back center to do. The problem is Sengun is just so much more talented on offense, it makes no sense for him to be behind Theis who is severely limited.

Yes. He’s obviously our best player. The offense doesn’t start flowing until he’s on the floor. He’s a great passer so that alone should help our guards get more easy buckets. It’s a no brainer.

We don’t have a natural playmaker in our starting lineup. Sengun and Green need to develop chemistry with one another. Those two are our future. Silas should’ve known this from day one. That was the reason Stone traded up for him. I don’t like how the coach is throwing our rookie to wolves without any plan of attack. **** like that could shatter a kids confidence. He and KPJ need help, and rn our best passer is a big man.

I don't know if they'll let him start but I hope he gets a lot of minutes, anything less than 20 is unacceptable. He looks like he has some trouble with his conditioning so maybe that will limit him, but if it doesn't I'd like to see him over 30.

I hope Silas doesn't have Van Gundy syndrome vis a vis foreign born players.

He is starter material. We need him coming off the bench so that we have some production from the bench. He needs to play with Wood and Garuba and Theis should play together

This. Sengun needs upperbody strenght to bully his opponents before bullied.
